Uniforms

It is the responsibility of the student to maintain the quality of the uniform throughout the year.

If the uniform is dirty during the year, it is the responsibility of the student to have the uniform dry-cleaned.

Generally, it is a good idea to have the uniform dry cleaned following the marching band season.

All students MUST return their uniform at the end of the school year professionally dry cleaned. Students who do not have their uniform dry cleaned will have a fee of $10 assessed from their band account or charged to their school account at SCHS.

READ the SCHS Bands UNIFORM AGREEMENT

UNIFORMS THAT ARE NOT RETURNED ON THE DAY REQUESTED WILL BE ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL $10 LATE FEE.

-EFFECTIVE as of 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR

Please Note

The uniform is always in one of two modes: folded neatly and hanging on the wooden hanger provided, or worn only by the band member to which it has been issued.

THE UNIFORM IS NEVER TO BE ON THE FLOOR, ROLLED UP IN A BALL, OR THROWN INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE GARMENT BAG.

DO NOT STORE YOUR SHOES AND SHAKO BOX IN THE GARMENT BAG.

Concert Band Dress Code

For performance in band at St. Clair High School we ask the student to obtain concert attire. We will wear this uniform at all concerts during the year except at the Spring Concert when formal wear is worn.

Black Concert Attire

All Black always looks great on stage. Students can choose clothing that they are comfortable wearing and they feel confident wearing...as long as it is black...a "dressed up" look is the goal.

Dresses and Skirts should be AT LEAST knee length.

No denim.

Dress Shoes

Failure to wear appropriate attire at concerts will result in loss of points for the performance.
